Since 2000 I have been developing many translations and interpreting projects, mainly on business and legal fields.

Within the legal field, I have translated purchase-sale contracts (for real estate companies such as Rushcliffe International Real Property, Martin & Clews Consulting), deeds of incorporation and memorandums of association of several companies and organizations (such as the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong), insurance policies for insurance companies and broker's offices, not only in Spain but also in the United States (Chubb Insurance Company of Europe, Chubb & Son, Willis International, etc).

I am also specialized in translation of powers of attorney, trusts, legal actions, writs and court orders requested by different law firms and insurance companies such as Universal Abogados, Otero de Navascues or Federal Insurance Company.

Within the economic and business field, I am mainly specialized in translation of guarantees, loan contracts, corporate's financial statements and sales contracts of shares and other assets for some of the above mentioned entities and law firms.

I have acted as consecutive, sight and liaison interpreter in Spain, Europe and United States. I would like to stress those carried out at:

  • VALLADOLID (SPAIN): In May 2008 I acted as consecutive and liaison interpreter for the business congress organized by the Spanish Confederation of Employer's Organization (CEOE) where Spanish entrepreneurs and American commercial attachés took part.
  • BRUSSELS (BELGIUM): In November 2005 the European Commission organized, at the Brussels Management Centre Europe, the Interreg IIIC Forum. I acted as consecutive interpreter in the meetings with other partners and in the workshops on management of fluvial resources.
  • ROTTERDAM (HOLLAND): In December 2004 I acted as consecutive interpreter in the meetings organized by the European Commission for the Lead Partners of European projects. I acted as interpreter for the "Asociación Ibérica de Municipios Ribereños del Duero" (AIMRD), Lead partner of the "Hidrosource" project.
  • CAMBRIDGE (UNITED KINGDOM): In September 2003 I presented to the Cambridgeshire County Council the Spanish partners' proposal for the language pilot project named "Celebrating Languages in Europe" within the framework of the European Initiative Socrates, Action Minerva.
  • BOSTON (UNITED STATES): From September to November 1998, I acted as consecutive and sight interpreter in oral proceedings taken place at Boston Juvenile Courts.
